First images of the Sigma 28-70mm f/2.8 DG DN Contemporary Lens have been leaked online. No specs have been released along with the images. The lens will be officially announced on February 24, 2021, just before the CP+ 2021.
Available in Sony E and Leica L mounts, the Sigma 28-70mm f/2.8 DG DN Contemporary and it will compete against the Tamron 28-75mm FE. The US price of the zoom lens will be around $900.
Along with the Sigma FE 28-70mm f/2.8 DG DN Contemporary lens, the manufacturer will also announce the Sigma fp L camera and the new external electronic viewfinder EVF-11.
This will be a top pick for users looking for a lightweight all-around zoom, the FE 28-70mm f/2.8 Lens from Sigma will be a great go-to for Full Frame E-Mount shooters. The lens can also be used with APS-C models where it provides an 42mm – 105 equivalent focal length.
