Zeiss has announced a major firmware update for its $6,000 Android-powered ZX1 camera . The new Firmware Update Version 1.4 adds face-detection autofocus, an updated version of Adobe Lightroom and more. The best part is, firmware version 1.4 for the ZX1 is available to download directly to the camera over Wi-Fi.

Zeiss ZX1 Firmware Version 1.4
Zeiss ZX1 is similar to the Sony RX1, looks like it would be cheaper than upcoming Leica Q2 camera. The camera is available starting today for $6,000 at select dealers in the United States and Germany. Check availability at Adorama, B&H.
